Agency Moves: Brand Momentum names EVP, Hawkeye appoints SVP


Brand Momentum has welcomed Kevin Pfuhl back to the agency to take on the role of EVP of integrated marketing.

Pfuhl is no stranger to the shop, having worked as its VP of client services and strategy during a five-year stay that ended in June 2020.

With a career spanning senior leadership roles at agencies such as Rain43, BBDO/Proximity, GJP Advertising and Design and, most recently, McCann Canada, Pfuhl brings a wealth of experience and insight to the role. His portfolio includes work with brands including Toyota, Sentry Investments, Freedom Mobile, RBC, Molson and General Motors.

“His deep understanding of the industry, creative leadership and proven success with both clients and teams will be instrumental as we continue driving innovation and growth across our marketing efforts,” Bron Sarabun, Brand Momentum’s president, said in a news release.

Brand Momentum is an integrated sales, marketing and retail agency with national coverage, headquartered out of Toronto and Montreal.

Hawkeye Canada bolsters its CRM strength

Hawkeye Canada has appointed Darya Fustukian as its new SVP of CRM strategy.

Fustukian previously served as SVP head of strategy at MRM, supporting clients such as GM, Reckitt, Sanofi, J&J Innovative Medicine, Scotiabank and Tangerine. She also spent more than a decade as an independent consultant.

As part of her leadership duties at Hawkeye, Fustukian will take part in industry forums to solidify the agency’s position as a thought leader in CRM strategy and be fully involved in new business, according to a news release.

“Her unique blend of strategic vision, curiosity and practical experience will be instrumental in driving our clients’ CRM successes,” said Catherine Parsons, EVP and managing director of Publicis Hawkeye Canada.
